I will always remember the days of uncertainty; the struggles to get to opening day. It was quite a journey, but I will know that it was worthwhile the moment the first visitors walk through the door. This museum will never be the biggest museum, but it will be the only one know as the Peoria Riverfront Museum. So when I look at this landmark I can truthfully say Peoria is well represented.
