In the days of the Arts & Sciences Centerat Glen Oak Pavilion, I co-chaired the first "Fair in the Park" and "Thunder on the River" - an early fund-raiser. My husband and I took our little children to the ground breaking for Lakeview Museum, a small but important occasion. We and our now grown family are thrilled to see the Peoria Riverfront Museum emerge from these beginnings. I am so proud of our community for looking to the future and celebrating the past.
