As the local genealogical society, preserving Peoria's history is an important part of our existence. Any effort by the Riverfront Museum to inspire the community to learn more about it's past development, to preserve and protect that history, is of great value to the society as well. We contributed to the capital campaign in order to help insure the museum will be there to inspire citizens of Peoria and the surrounding area to learn about the community in which they grew up, by preserving that past, and bringing it into the future for all generations to come. The Peoria County Genealogical Society is pleased to be a part of that effort.
