Operating Engineers Local 649's 1,700 members (1,200 active and 500 retired) are proud of our financial contributions to the Peoria Riverfront Museum. We were instrumental in building Exposition Gardens, many years ago, with our donated labor. Exposition Gardens and the Peoria Riverfront Museum are testimonials to labor and business working together to creates great things for the good of the community. Central Illinois is the best place to live and work in the U.S.A. The Peoria Riverfront Museum helps prove that.
