The Peoria area has a tremendous history, and today our community continues to have so many positive attributes compared to similar sized regions in the country. The Peoria Riverfront Museum showcases our history and is a significant marker of where we are today. The Museum has an important mission to educate people about our past and build pride in who we are. More important, it is our fervent hope that this institution inspires leaders of tomorrow to continue building on where we have been and to build an even better community for tomorrow.
