When the Civic Center was built, we were living oversees on a Caterpillar assignment and therefore were not solicited for the capital campaign. We have not felt a sense of ownership of that facility.
When the Riverfront Museum was initiated we wanted to be involved because of its cultural importance to the city of Peoria and the surrounding area.
