We consider the Peoria Riverfront Museum a legacy for Central Illinois. Long after we are gone, the museum and Museum Square will provide lifetime learning and fun for all, local families and visitors alike. For all of these reasons, Barb campaigned for a museum editorially in the Peoria Journal Star starting in the 1990’s. Bernie became involved with the project upon his retirement in 2003 and was proud to be a member of the first Peoria Riverfront Museum Board. We are happy to have played a part in this very special recognition of Peoria’s past and investment in its future.
